2010 started out with Jeff and I finally giving in (and maybe losing our minds a little) and letting Henry and Annie each get a pet. After careful research and contemplation (about 10 minutes) Henry decided on a lizard and Annie a hamster. So off to Petco we went. Henry ended up with a bearded dragon...highly recommended by his cousins Danny and Cody. Annie found a cute little dwarf hamster that she just had to have. Spike and Cutie Pie are now the newest members of our family. Hopefully they will be around for a while but with Jack in the house we aren't sure. In the first week, Jack picked up Cutie Pie's cage and threw it down the hallway where it landed upside down. Besides hamster droppings and cage bedding all over the place, everything seemed ok with Cutie Pie. Spike should be ok as long as Henry remembers to close the bag on the lizard food. I'm not fond of having live crickets hopping around my house!
They are so cute! Both the pets and Henry and Annie ;)
