Jack's 5th Birthday

Not sure how it happened but my kids' birthdays are all within three weeks of each other so we end up with a busy month of partying from mid May to early June.

May 14th - Happy 5th Birthday Jack!
Jack started his morning with his one request for breakfast....cinnamon rolls (thank you Pillsbury!) and bacon.  He (with "subtle" hints from Mom) decided he would invite a few friends and have his birthday party at Jungle Jim's.   It worked out great because everyone was able to come to the party during the day while most other kids were at school.  It was so nice because the place was practically empty.  Jack invited Josh from school, Emersen and Bentley from church, and family friend Sophie.
I think all kids had a blast!
Enjoying the rides and arcade games.
Even though the picture below is blurry, I still absolutely love it!
The looks on all their faces are priceless!
Time for pizza....
presents....
and cupcakes!
Opening presents at home...Jack loved his Iron Man Patriot mask.
After a long, fun-filled day, the birthday boy zonks out with his Iron Man Transformer car.  :)

Jack is so sweet and such a joy for our family.  He wants to be like big brother Henry and copies him by saying things like "That's so ninja (or sick or boss)!" when he thinks something is cool.  He seems to get great satisfaction out of helping others and does it with excitement and a smile especially if he can help Dad while using tools.  Jack is a whizz on the iPad and has to show Mom how to play Minecraft.  "Just follow me to my house Mom and the Creeper won't get you!"  Meanwhile I can't figure out how to even control my character and I'm dead in 5 seconds.  Haha!  Jack and Annie are the best "make believe" buddies ever!  They like to play school, pirates, and restaurant.  Jack even enjoys having "spa days" with Annie.  Our little muffin man is loved so much and lights up any room with his sweet smile and twinkling eyes!

  1. Those pictures are so fun! Thanks for inviting us - the kids had a grand time and keep asking to go back :)

Also, I loved your invitations for Annie's camping party. So cute! Did you come up with that all by yourself? Seriously I loved it.

    You have really great kids.

  2. Just when I think Jack can't get any cuter he seems to get cuter. :) I loved all these pictures of him and I'm so glad he had an awesome 5th birthday!
