For Jeff's birthday this year, he took the day off of work and since all the kids were in school, we got to spend the day together. It was so nice!
After originally thinking we would go golfing, Jeff decided he'd rather go for a hike to Lake Blanche in Big Cottonwood Canyon. It was the perfect timing because the fall colors were spectacular.
The hike was just over 6.5 miles round trip with a 2700 foot elevation gain.
It was a great hike and a great day!
These photos are absolutely stunning. Seriously stunning. You need to print some big for the wall. It makes me happy to see more than what was on FB. What a great way to spend your birthday. I'm especially in awe of the fish he caught. :)
