Orlando Trip Day 2-Hollywood Studios

One of our goals for day two of our trip was to go to Hollywood Studios and ride the new Toy Story ride that we had heard about.  Throughout our whole trip Jeff was our official "run ahead to all the rides to get Fastpasses" guy.  A Fastpass lets you come back to a ride at a specified time and not have to wait in line.  So first thing through the gate at Hollywood Studios, Jeff raced to the Toy Story ride to get our Fastpasses.  By the time he reached the ride, all the Fastpasses for the entire day were already gone and the wait time was 90 minutes!!  Sorry but there is no way I am waiting in a line with a 2 year old for 90 minutes!  So we went with Plan B....do whatever else we can and come back to Hollywood Studios on another day in the middle of the week when it isn't so crowded.  We still had another great day and the weather was fantastic!

We started the day by meeting Leo and Annie from Little Einsteins.

Next stop...Toy Story/Pixar area of the park.  It was so cute!

 Jack got his picture taken with one of the toy soldiers.

And then he saw his favorite...Buzz Lightyear...getting pictures taken with kids.  Here he is waiting in line, looking through the window at the other kids meeting Buzz.

So we had fun posing while waiting in line to meet Buzz.

And then... just as we were about to meet Buzz...he took a break and was replaced by Woody.  Jack likes Woody but...

HE LOVES BUZZ!!!

 Woody was teasing Henry because he was acting too cool to give Woody a high-five.

 CHEESE!

 Bye Woody!

And so with no Buzz meeting, we continued with our day and stopped to watch a parade.

 Jack got really excited to see the Toy Story characters.

After the parade it was time for lunch and some running around by Sophie and Jack.

After lunch it was time for more fun.

 This is a picture of a picture that was displayed after we rode on the Aerosmith Rockin' Rollercoaster.  Can you tell it was Henry's first time?!  Don't worry, he looks real scared but he loved it and went on it multiple times.

Since the Fastpasses were all out for the Toy Story ride, Jack was given these cards as consolation.  We had no idea how great they would be. These cards entertained Jack many times while waiting in lines.  He would sort through them and straighten his pile over and over.  He carried them around with him the rest of the week. 

Who knew?

And that was the end of another great day.  Time to get the sleepy head to bed.
